Day Trip to Kizimkazi Dolphin View Point

Tour Overview

Your program starts very early in the morning at around 6:00 am with a visit to Kizimkazi fishing village. You will be picked up from the hotel by our driver. The village of Kizimkazi is famous for its dolphin safaris. However, if you're visiting Kizimkazi please be mindful about joining boat trips that offer the opportunity to swim with dolphins.

Dolphin tour in Zanzibar is a half-day Tour which is done at Kizimkazi fishing village, south coast of the island. The main attraction in this tour is being able to swim close to the dolphins; for those who are lucky they can even get to play with them for a couple of hours. The program normally lasts for around two hours from 06:00 am to 09:30 am.

06:45 AM - Arrival & Boat Preparation

Arrive at Kizimkazi village, meet your experienced boat captain and guide. Receive safety briefing and snorkeling gear.

07:00 AM - Dolphin Safari

Depart on a boat tour into the Indian Ocean in search of dolphins. These magnificent creatures are often spotted in the waters around Kizimkazi. When conditions permit, you may have the opportunity to swim alongside them. The program normally lasts for around two hours, from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.

08:30 AM - Snorkeling Time

After the dolphin experience, enjoy snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. Explore vibrant coral reefs and observe tropical fish and other marine life in their natural habitat.

09:30 AM - Return to Hotel

Conclude your dolphin adventure and transfer back to your hotel, with unforgettable memories of swimming with dolphins.
